One of the most picturesque A & P Shows in the South Island

The Upper Clutha A & P show was first held in Cromwell in 1895. Now set on the beautiful shores of Lake Wanaka, it is arguably one of the most stunning settings in the country for an A & P Show. The Upper Clutha A & P Show is a unique agricultural and pastoral event with spectacular Southern Alps in the background.
It is traditionally held around the second weekend in March and is one of the last shows of the year. It's a major annual event on the Wanaka calendar and is supported by the whole community and indeed enjoyed by all competitors, spectators and trade exhibitors.

Mackenzie County A & P Society Annual Highland Show - 2nd April 2018

Held every Easter Monday in Fairlie the Mackenzie Highland Show is the largest one day Agricultural and Pastoral Show in Australasia.

Competitions are held in sheep, cattle, horses, wool, dog trials, Kennel Club, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, goats, poultry, produce, photography, wood chopping, Highland dancing and piping, wearable arts and more.

Food stalls, entertainment, trade displays.
